Dance of Life...
We are all dancers ...
in the ballroom of life ...
some of us wear slippers...
some of tap shoes ...
and some of us dance barefooted
in the grass outside ...
but we are all dancers of one kind
or another.
And there is the music ...
at times the pace ... is fast ...
and our steps keep time with the
music ...
listening for the splendor of the
instruments
as they call our very souls to dance...
And there are the times when the
music is slow ...
as if to caress our souls in its'
cherished embrace...
And the music never stops ...
there may be times when we do not
hear it ...
and there may be times when we do
not want it to continue to play
for it means we must keep dancing
...
but the music continues to beckon
us to dance ...
there is something is the music
called life that won't allow us to stop...
not for long.
And in those times when we want to
sit it all out ...
the music catches a beat with our
very soul ...
and we are called back to the dance
of life ...
and once we begin to dance again
...
the music becomes our music ...
the songs our songs ...
and the love is brought back once
more.
I am thankful for the dance of life
...
for all the different types of music
played in the waltzes ...
and even the fast dances ...
for they all blend into a melody
...
one that keeps time with my soul...
For this is the dance I have been
invited to ...
and the song is mine ...
and as my feet dance to the music,
my soul takes wings ...
and I feel more alive in the ballroom
...
than ever before...
And in those times when I want to
dance barefooted in the grass ...
to taste the rain of life ...
and to bask in the sunshine at times
...
and to always catch the magic of
the stars at night ...
it is in these times that I know
I dance the one dance
that thrills not only my heart but
captures who I really am.
The dance of life ...
always listen to the music ...
and always dance ...
for in the dance you will catch
the moment of spender ...
and the dance will be filled with
love ...
and never end...
Many blessings to you,
