I thank God for
His grace and forgiveness,
for His love so
strong that He sent Jesus
down to earth,
to be born so He could die
to set us free
and make us a mansion
in the sky.
to join
together, man and wife
that we should
glorify Him
with our life
I wonder if He
feels caught in the middle
when we are
selfish, when we fight and squibble
I know He must
be asking God "why"
when He already
paid the price,
do we continue
to make each other cry
did we forget,
the vows we took?
and who was
present, did He look?
as we took each
other, hand in hand
and promised to
love and understand?
to be patient,
kind and to never boast
to always
forgive and be not provoked?
to keep a
humble heart,
toward a husband or a wife
to honor each
other for the rest of our life?
when life
brings you trials
and the chance
to grow in Him
be careful not
to run,
that's not the way to win
but rather,
draw closer then beside Him,
let him take your hands
for only He can
guide you two
through this
life that He has planned
to make you
stronger in your daily walk,
to soften the
manner in which you talk
that you may
live an abundant life
together now,
as man and wife.

Thanks for the
reminder!
We wed in 1997.
I was diagnosed
with cancer in 1999
and am five yrs cancer
free Jan of this yr!
Praise God for that!
For any of you married folks who have missed
out
on a chance to be refined in your trials
in marriage,
remember that God lets us start
new each day......
It's not too late!
