THERE'S POETRY IN THE AIR !

Because of you, there's poetry in the air;
Compassionate words of love and care.
Carried by the angels around the world
God's message of peace is unfurled.

The joy in your heart is seen in your art,
A talent from God, not left in the sod.
You gave to God your sacred best.
He glorified it to bless the rest.

The lonely and hurting,  the ones left out,
Abused and cursed and pushed about,
Found relief from pain, received joy with hope.
Through you words,  they now can cope.

To a world of hatred, malice and greed
Send your poetry with Godspeed.
Because of you, there is poetry in the air
Ascending to heaven, a hopeful prayer.
